I have a problem with Microsoft Outlook 2002 Address Book.
My clients used to use Outlook Express as their e-mail client but have now upgrade to Microsoft Outlook 2002 with an exchange server and have become inundated with address books, or rather address book filtering options. Is it possible...
Takes up heaps of hard drive space, and it's really the only time that it ever would have been handy to me. I've disabled it as well as many other things by using one of the Windows XP Tweaking guides.
I have tried to manually re-add the TCPip Access Driver to Non-Plug and Play Drivers in Device manager by copying keys from a working XP computer relating to the service. e.g. all entries with tcpip.sys
but that still didn't work..
This is one of my System Event Log Entries..
The Network Location Awareness (NLA) service depends on the Tcpip Service which failed to start because of the following error:
The System cannot find the file specified.
Hope this helps..
Ok I have major problems with my computer.
First of all it is in a network of a few computers. My computer is configured as 192.168.0.1 and shares the internet out to the rest of the network through XP ICS.
Now... For some god forsaken reason no-one could ping me by my computer name, only by...
mmm good point that might be the key.. they're stored in the PERSONAL.XLS, the global macro storage i'm assuming..
This often opens up at random in it's own window after running the macro.
Could this have anything to do with it?
Soon upgrading to Office XP so I know that will remove a lot of...
The code doesn't really seem to be important as it never changes, only the button to the link to the macro really.. Sorry I should've specified.
I have created a button on the toolbar linking to the macro and for some reason that changes from "Macro1" to "'filename'Macro1"...
I have created a couple of excel macros for a client of mine, and they are named e.g. Macro1 & Macro2.
These macros for instance, select all text, resize to a specific font, change certain cells etc.
Now every once in a while, when the macro is executed, a document that the user has recently...
Everytime I try and print out a certain range of a document, the document will quickly spool and disappear from the printer queue. If I select to print the whole document, current page, or selection, it works perfectly.
Any Ideas?
The Internet ---Period---
The best resource you can get is the internet, no book or software package can compete. All you need is forums like this for short/long-term reply based results, or a search engine for instance google. There has rarely EVER been a probably I have not fixed by finding...
Restarted into Safe Mode with network support, and could browse the shares perfectly... Restarted and booted windows normally and now it works...?!
So very weird..
I have a small network at home with 3 computers currently running on the 192.168.0.XXX IP range. All the computers have shared folders and from my computer I can access the folders with no problem at all, however they cannot access mine. If I go to my network places and then to view my shares...
check the mtu settings for the laptop.. I had the same problem and had to download tcp doctor. Download this file http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.zip
open the command prompt from the start menu and run this command..
ping -l 1584 -f www.google.se
The reply will most likely be...
