As you know, Microsoft will not provide any update for Win NT soon.
Im not sure if Microsot will put offline the windows update page for NT 4.0, so i want to make a cd with all the avaliable patches from Sp 6a until now.
Is there any way to do such thing??

I find a solution, i have to make member of the administrator gruop each user with the problem, then log in, open the document (at that moment word will not open it, but the windows installer windows appear)
Put the office CD in the pc, let the installation end, and after that take out the user...

I have the same problem in NT workstation and Server.
It seems to be a permissions problem, because this problem appear only if you a are a simple user, if you are an administrator all work fine.
I run a script using "su" command to grant administrative privileges to the script.
But, the script only run if the loged user is an administrator.
Is there any other way to do this?
I dont want grant administrative priveleges for every user in the net.

The "netwatch" utility shows shares, in a treeview and in each share, what user is connected, an in each user, what files are he or she using an if you right click in a particular file, you can see if the file is locked for write, and you can close the file.
Maybe is not confortable...
