wolluf, I had this computer built with windows XP Pro as the OS the installation disk notes Service Pack 1 included. I ahve been receiving the pop up mesage for about 4 month. I have tried download and have purchased the service pack but nothing works and the message still pops up, I did receive a suggestion to reinstall the OS but I do not want to back up the entire C drive Thanks Chuck- bagman61

I keep recieving an error mesage requesting my Service pack 1 and it is part of my SP Pro installation disk. Can I reinstall SP Pro OS with losing my data or do I need to back up everything I must save? Thanks for the help.- bagman61
