OE Newsreader won't authenticat News Server
When trying to download the list of newsgroups, OE is unable to connect to the news server. All settings have been verified with the ISP. Same is true with another newsreader, XNEWS. Seems like something else is interfering. Anyone have ideas? Running Win XP Pro, Office XP, Outlook 2003...- 46RJohn

Can't Change Screen Saver
Running XP-Pro. When I try to change the screen saver the selection box is grayed out with Mystify, the current saver, shown. The other *.scr files are in the windows\system32 directory. I tried looking thru the registry, have looked thru the management console, tweakui, etc. to no avail. Does...- 46RJohn

Files Written to CD ROM are read-only
Running Win XP Pro with NTFS file system. I am trying to transfer a complete My Documents folder with hundreds of files to another computer. DVD Sound
I had a similar problem and found the DVD came into the sound card as an AUX channel which was muted. Check to insure that no devices are muted.- 46RJohn
