Both the CP and the computer have a static IP. The instructions we have show the IP going into the security section also but when we go into the configuration screen our security tab is replaced with a password tab. We use the 900 user id to sign in so it should give us full permissions.

So far we have not had any problems as far as the scanner itself goes. We are using them to scan our members drivers license. The quality of the scan is pretty good itself considering the size of the scanner. If you have any further questions about the scanner feel free to ask.
