okay, sorry for the delay.
It is OWA. When someone tries to send email using OWA, the service (MSEXCHANGEIS) store.exe, stops running.
I've checked the server with Trend AV, went through some of Microsoft's repairs, but still nothing.
Might try a repair on Windows?

I am baffled.
Our information store service will just stop for no apparent reason. I'm not sure if it is our Tren Scan-Mail that is causing the problem or if a virus of some-sort has done some damage.
I also lost the ability to use remote desktop to remote into the server around the same time...
I upgraded to windows 2003 and exchange 2003.
I've checked my DNS entries, but when I try to email from Yahoo, I get the message:
Sorry, I couldn't find any host named .... (#5.1.2)
Does anyone have any idea what else I need to check???
TIA

Our web server crashed. We had to reinstall server extensions and now the themes are not there.
What file are they contained in and how can I copy it to each foloder where I want the theme applied?
We have FrontPage 2002 & 2002 server extensions.
Thanks in advance,
Darrin
Believe it or not, I'd like to redo the entire domain (servers only). We have problems with our servers from time to time and I'd like a full restart.
My questions are:
Recreating accounts, recreates SIDs, recreates permissions, problems with profiles, problems with mailboxes.
ANY way of...
We had the same same problems all over campus.
Here is what we did:

Go into regedit

Make sure you have the following keys:
ncacn.http reg_sz rpcrt4.dll
ncacn_ip reg_sz rpcrt4.dll
ncacn_nb_tcp reg_sz...
A great site for checking your DNS and MX records is www.dnsreport.com
Take a look at all the listings and make sure your MX record is being discovered by the world.
Hope this helps,

Also, one thing I've noticed. Delete out any listing in the DHCP for that server. If you have dual NIC cards, make sure you are trying to apply the TCP/IP to the correct adapter. The best route is to setup the DHCP scope with a few 'out' of the scopes range. This will allow you to set the...
Hopefully you are running Active Directory in 'Mixed Mode'.
This allows you to use both Windows 2000 and NT servers.
If you have gone 'Native Mode', it is my understanding that you will have to upgrade the NT server to 2000. :-(

I had the same problem with the date/time picker ActiveX control.
Look at using the " LPK " tool. You can find it on Microsoft. It is a licensing tool that 'packages and licenses' the activeX controls. It is easy to use and solved my problems.
Also, make sure you look at the...
