go to your DNS mmc snap in. right click on your server/properties/and the foward tap... uncheck foward option, that should work

i have a win2k adv. server with AD,DNS,DHCP all setup it's running fine... i'm trying to setup an backup server, so if one fails it'll take that place... when i type in dcpromo setup everything... towards the users name, password, domain i get an error stating: "the operation failed...

maybe this will work... did you configure the clients comupters RRAS service... it's set at auto, set it to manual and start it up reset the ip addresses and it should work... happy holidays.....

you should check the irq's if they are conflicting with each other.... if that don't work, try to put in another NIC that have the latest update.... try that... hope it works...
