Using Notes client 6.5 and the Out of Office agent always show's enable with a check mark if you click on the menu and select view then agents. It will not disable yet if i go to tools, Out of Office it shows disabled. Is this normal??

Hello, Currently in Notes 6.5.3 when opening the mail app, the default box is not always the "inbox". It seems that the last folder a person was in is the default for the next session. Is there a way to set the "inbox" as the default location when opening Notes all the time? regards, Chris

Oh, those changes for DNS in your TCP/IP should be changed on both servers...the one that is a DC already and the one that you are trying to promote.

If you go to a command prompt and type nslookup and then get a response that is something like unkown [can't remember exact message] this means your DNS is not working properly. Let me know how you make out...i have other suggestions but try these first to eliminate some issues. SOKO

From the PC/Server having problems open a command prompt and type nslookup and see where your DNS is pointing. If you get "unknown" or you do not return the correct value you have DNS problems. Nslookup is the tool to diagnose any DNS problems. Make sure you have Reverse Lookup Zones...
