Windows XPHome edition not retaining after shutdown or restart.

Windows XPHome edition not retaining after shutdown or restart.
I recently installed Windows XP Home and everytime I shut down my system or even just restart, when XP is back up all of the following information is not there as it was before shutting down or restarting..It loses all internet addresses that I have put in to go to different websites, Favorites...- orroro
