Log on to the local Win 2K machine as the local administrator. Start Outlook 97. As the user is not an administrator, presumably, Outlook has not completely registered in the registry. Then log back on as the user.

you could try a parallel Windows NT 4.0 install to a different folder and then back up your data. NT will load on less than 1.o GB. I have done this in the past for notebooks HTH

What are you using for name resolution? How does the 2000 pro obtain it's IP address? Is the pro machine on the same subnet as the Adv server?
