TVIMAN,
I have heard of DSL modems with built-in router but don't have enough experience. (apparently u do thou!!)
I personally am more comfortable with devices that come individually , less headache more ability to dignose the problem.

You need to find out from your Internet provider what your DNS server is. Once that is configured your browser will be able to point to the right server(s) to translate the domain names to IP addresses.

Bob,
A HUB doesn't do anything in your network(You haven't set up your network yet to begin with), it provides ONLY a physical connection between the networking devices without being able to make decisions.
In order for your DSL modem to recognize other devices on your network, you need a...
The scsi card is ADAPTEC AHA-2940U2W. Unfortunately the installation instruction on Adaptec's site was so incomplete. I downloaded the driver and created a Unix floppy but don't know where to go from there.
The driver might already be installed but that's another thing that I don't know how to...
I had never installed a scsi card on a unix server. I just did it today(for a tape drive). I didn't get any error message, however couldn't catch to see if it was detected.
Does it get detected automatically? If yes how would I check it and if not how would I install it manually?
Thanks
Laleh
It depends where you are. For example if it s a hotmail account, double click on the textbox(for username) and a drop-down list containing all previously-entered usernames show up. Just point your mouse on each and hit DELETE key.
If this way doesn't work, enter an unusual set of characters as...
I couldn't open any of those two links but anyway whenever you enter a site's URL, the index.htm file gets read and in that file you might be redirected to another page based on what the web site programmer has put there.
I'm not sure what you mean by gap's site being perfectly aligned and yours not. You may want to explain a bit more what's bothering you exactly!
Anyway if you are not happy with the spaces between pix, you can take out the hight and width values in that table.
If I start a new email, but pause for a while, come back and try to send it, it gives me the error message "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart outlook."
I already looked it up and it's a confirmed problem. Microsoft customer service...
This type of error message is a conflict between files Winsock.dll and Wsock32.dll in Windows 95 and something the operating system needs called Windows Sockets in conjunction with IPX/SPX.
Microsoft has acknowledged that this conflict exists and they have released a system patch. Do a Windows...
The only possible thing that comes to my mind is that your website might be cached in the local servers.
Clear the server's cache or add a couple of lines to the home page and upload the new file, so the page would be changed and wouldn't be read from any cache.
You should make some changes in the registry file. (Make sure to make backup of your registry before making any changes.)
Go to the key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT --> * --> shellex --> ContextMenuHandlers
You'll see the list of items in the right click menu. Delete anyone you want.
Well.... If I understood correctly, You have uploaded some files but can't see the changes right away in the browser.
When you upload something to your host server, it takes some time for it to propagate thru different servers on the internet. Specially when you have dial-up connection. Because...
Curt,
Apparently you have solved the problem.
But what I meant by flattenning an image was making it as Indexed color mode rather than RGB mode. Which Saving for web does that automatically.
