We already have images of the OS with apps installed. However this doesnt help me distribute applications from ZenWorks.
I have long since fixed this problem. Zen was reading the Reg files from all of the servers for some reason. I detached from the network and it ran fine. Thx for the...

I have a wireless card that im trying to get drivers installed for on WInXP. The OS will detect the card and even tell me the right name for the card but after I load the drivers for it (updated ones from 3Com's site) It tells me there was a problem with the device and it 'Cannot Start this...
What type of motherboard are you using? Make sure the drivers are up to date. I had this problem on a MSI's new mobo K7620 (or something like that) and all it took was the new updated mobo drivers. Now its faster than you ever need

I have a bunch of Dell Latitude 810 and it comes with a generic named '3com 10/100 Mini-PCI' on the laptop itself. The docking station comes with the 3C905B. Both can be disabled with no difficulty although I have never tried to use another kind of NIC in its place (these ones work great)

If you have a Novell 5.1 Server why dont you use the ZenWorks snap in to create and apply policies to container objects. This way the profile will follow them anywhere. This is easier to manage then physically going to each machine to create policies for each. Jeremy Leasure

Thanks for the reply ramani. I have not applied this patch. Can I apply the patch to just these certain 2000 machines instead of having the vendor re-compile? If so, how do I do it, as Im not real familiar with FP.
I really dont have a choice about using this program. It is our control...
I am using a DOS application that has been p[rogrammed in Fow Pro 2.6. The app works fine on our Win98 machines, but when I go to use it on a Win2000 machine it gives me the error described in the header.
Is there any compatibility issues between Fox and 2000? The vendor hasn't tested the app...
When i sync my palm 505 with my groupwise address book the address field and the email field are not always going in the right fields in my GroupWise address book.

Check your system tray in the bottom right hand corner. Is Dr. Watson running there? Dr. Watson is a utility that creates a log of all of your errors. Its not Watson that is causing your problem though, it your MS Word that you are using when it bombs. Jeremy Leasure

Install Win2000. No Blue Screens there! No matter what you do Win98 is full of errors, these screens dont mean that you have a hardware issue. Like sggaunt said it may be that the software is not communicating with the hardware correctly. Win2000 has fixed all of that. I wolud upgrade man...

The 8G limitation IS indeed your problem. Check with your motherboard manufacture for BIOS updates.
If they do not have one, check with the HD Mfg. I know for sure that Westeren Digital provides a program called EZ-Bios which overrides the 8Gig limit before getting in to Windows.
In FDISK...
Both of you guys are right, no problem with file transmission. I recommend that you dont convert your whole drive to NTFS. Why? NTFS partitions cannot be accessed from DOS, therefore you cannot restore files from this
HD if the system becomes corrupt.
My recommendation is to create around...
In Console1 you right-click on the specified voilume and then go to the Space Restrictions' tab. There you can see all users and their allowed space and also how much space they are actually taking up. From there you can also change their allowed amount. You mentioned a command line. Why do...
I agree with MDonato. Zen is a great product. It stops people that know computer 'stuff' from screwing up the systems, therefore making our job easier. Do you really need to change your wallpaper at work?
