Access2000 slows after Access97 uninstalled
ZeroAnarchy, Thanks for tips. I tried Registry cleaning, which didn't help. I didn't try compacting because database worked normal speed on other computers with Access2000. Finally I reinstalled access97 and Access2000 returned to is't former speed and glory. So decided to leave/restore...- leericmarvin

Access2000 slows after Access97 uninstalled
I have both Access2000 and Access97 installed while migrating from one to the other. I uninstalled Access97 from 5 computers, of which 3 now have slow running Access2000. I have also uninstalled Office2000 and reinstall, with no improved symptoms. I have tried steps in MS articules 239114...- leericmarvin

Emergency Repair Disk/Boot disk history?
I have noticed that the ERD utility in W2K can ONLY create a ERD disk on a floppy drive. No capability to be re-directed to a CD ROM, harddrive or Network resource.
