Hi GrimR, I've tried just about every permutation I can think of. I am as certain as I can be that it is not the order of the driver installation that is the problem. (Famous last words![smile] ) I can't tell if there are any yellow exclamation marks in the device driver, as XP won't start-up...- rede96
