Perhaps I mispoke. When I said: "wireless connection from my laptop," I simply meant that I had a wireless (radio) link from my laptop to my modem (so that I can use my laptop anywhere in my house (or 100 meters) without having to have it connected into a phone line). Greetings I'm Running Windows XP Pro and OE 6 SP1 (with a wireless connection from my laptop). I Just switched Broadband Service Providers.
