Thanks Nelviticus
I currently have VMWare Server 2.0 beta and that supports USB devices too.
Oh well I guess I'll have to get some devices that work with Vista 64bit MCE or reinstall the PC with 32bit Vista
I'm trying to use a Vista 32bit Virtual Machine to get around PCI controller driver issues with my 64bit Vista host machine but I can't access the PCI controllers at all on the VM.
The controllers are PCIe HD TV cards.
Is this at all possible?
Will I have to use USB Controllers instead?
Thanks
We have a Windows 2000 Server running Exchange 2003. The IIS admin service won't restart and it more often takes a couple of restarts of the server to fix the issue. AFter the failed restart a number of IIS admin dependant services are "starting" but never start. Such as NNTP, SMTP and others...
Further investigation reveals that none of the replication messages sent from the Exch2k server are accepted by exch2003. Both servers send replication messages but only the exch2k (master) server accepts them. No NDRs are generated by the exch2003 server.
If I send a test message from an...
We have a simple two site set-up using w2k sp4 servers. One site has exchange 2k the other exchange 2003. We can replicate the Exch2003 PFs on the Exch2000 server but not the other way around.
Have worked through KB842273 and can track the Exch2000 PF replication emails fron Exch2000 to the...
Thanks Guys
I seem to have read the entire Ms KB about NTDS issues. The Exchange and RDP issues occur a day or so after the KCC problem starts. The Primary DC is W2k SP4 however, the other DC is W2003 SP1 and I knew nothing of KB898060. I'll get the hotfix and see how it goes...
Thanks again, Cooty.
Hi Guys
A slightly different spin on the usual KCC errors. We have a simple two site set-up with a single GC DC on each site. There are no errors at all reported until the weekend when 1 or both DCs start reporting these errors. Eventually server performance drops and a reboot of both DCs fixes...
I'll make this clearer
Can we use our IIS Web Server on a DMZ for OWA instead of another Server with another instance of Exchange configured as a Front End Server?
Hi Guys
We want to put a link to OWA on our DMZ web server. Microsoft seem to suggest that you have to use a Front End Exchange Server to achieve this which seems unduly expensive. Is this the only way?
I posted a similar problem to this months ago and never got a reply. The problem is with the pop3 connector. Microsoft publish a technote on troubleshooting this, but I was still unable to resolve the problem. I was faced with reinstalling, but I discovered the ISP had started supporting smtp...
Further diagnosis reveals that this appears to be down to the pop3 connector. It downloads the 2 mails ok, but doesn't pass the mail for the second domain to the smtp service, just ignores it. I have switched on maximum logging levels on all pop3 connector "services" but the mail is...
Standalone SBS2000 server with exchange 2000 collecting email for two Internet domains, office-primary.com and office-secondary.com in a office shared by 2 companies. Mail is being collected by the pop3 connector via 2 ISP pop3 mailboxes.
Each domain works fine in isolation, but a single email...
