My problem is my typing. We are using 6.5.7, soon to go to 7. I am the application specialist for GroupWise and work closely with the administrator.
Sorry for the confusion. I stopped the process and the user said it has not come back again.
Thanks for all your help.
We are using GW 5.6.7 on that machine.
There is no malware on that machine that I have detected.
I have not started GW in Safe Mode.
I am not using the client to access a restore point via file.
I also do not know when and what updates/patches the networking people are sending out to...
Sometimes on some machines for reasons unknown, when users exit GW the process keeps running and you need to kill the process or reboot the machine before you can start GW up again. How can this be fixed without a reboot or killing the process?
I have a user who has just started having a printing problem. The first time he prints an email it prints fine. But if he needs to print it again, parts of come out garbled and a one page email prints on 11 pages. If you use the View feature it the email becomes garbled also.

I have a user who has been plagued by D109 errors. I uninstalled GW, cleaned the registry and reinstalled, but it made no difference. I had the administrator run maintenance on her account which made no difference. I suspected it might be her profile and gave her a new one. Problem still...
She has set a high standard for herself and she would not send all all emails as high priority. Her supervisor has requested that she send certain emails as high priority. So I am looking for a quick way to mark those emails as high priority using keystrokes.
I have a blind user who relies completely on keystrokes. She has been requested to start using the "Priority" feature by her supervisor. I have checked the Novell site and other sites but have not found a simple keystroke solution.
I have developed a cumbersome method but was hoping for...
I have a workbook containing 3 worksheets. The first worksheet is an "input sheet" (raw data, a couple of columns of numbers and two columns of text (one of those columns has wrapped text). All cells in the other 2 worksheet are linked to the first worksheet with absolute cell references for...
I figured it out. Set the address books for “Name Format” -- show first name then last name and it is sorted by First Name.
For your columns choose Name and Last name. It will auto fill using firstname space and the start of the last name.
Using GW 6.5.7, the address book is set at “Name Format” -- show first name then last name and it is sorted by First Name. An Address Book has been selected and is displayed; the “Inside” box is set at first name.
When you type a first name in the “Look For” box, it goes to the first person...
If you are looking for a Rule to not reply to external email you would need to create a new rule. On Received Items: Item Types: Mail then click on the "Define Conditions..." button. Using the dropdown box choose From Matches *@*.*. Then under Add Actions choose "Stop Rule Processing".
Now add...
Thanks so much for the information. It was not the print driver but rather a setting in the Printer Properties. Print TrueType as graphics needed to be checked. I figured it out from your good reference.
I have a user who compiles/edits technical manuals from many sources. Every once in a while, there is a problem with symbols printing out the same way they appear on screen.
This time the ? (less than or equal to) and the ? (greater than or equal to) symbols appear correct in the document and...
I have a user who would like to change the font on folder names. She extensively organizes her Cabinet with "parent" folders with "children" folders under them. She would like the font on the parent folders to be bold or a different color or something to set it off so that when she has them all...
Thanks for that reminder but I really do not know what the Before_Print event is. I did a couple of searches and have not found a clear explanation. I will keep searching.
