    Thank you for your tip. I tried that and no luck. I went and bought an Asus MB and "presto", it worked. I have to assume that something with the Gigabyte MB just wasn't liking something. It would be really hard to believe if 2 MBs in a row of the same type would be bad - though...

    Bummer but neither of these suggestions worked. I am just planning on trying another motherboard (like Asus). Thanks for the tips though.
