I am new to AIX and would appreicate any pointers as to how to partition and mirror two disk,install patches.

My /etc/system has all the entries.I have installed the 5.1 MP1 and 5.1 MP2 and still the server contiunes to reboot itself.

This is a new system with 9 recommended patch cluster applied.This system acts as the backup server.But since I stopped netbackup two days ago,there has not been any system panic and the server has not rebooted itself.I have not applied any specific netbackup 5.1 patches on this server.Could...

I am trying to setup RMAN on Oracle 10g with Netbackup 5.1 on Solaris 9?.Any pointers are appreciated.

The drives are up.We are using the FC420 fibre channel bridge and it is not configured.Also with respect to client installation,.rhosts on clients are to populated with the master server name.After that what should I do next?
