Windows 2000 Mouse/System Freeze
Nuklearb to all friends (& Dr Jorde) (TechnicalUser) I have the same freeze/stall problem on a 633Mhz box installed with W2k pro, Realtek net card, 256 RAM etc. Swaping 20Gbs and 40Gbs didn't help...Eliminating other hardware e.g. Ram,CD,Printer etc. also didn't solve it. Can 2000 Shut Down The System?
Dear move-it! Just go to Control panel, then to Power Options. In the dialog box go to APM (Advanced Power Management)and check (v) Enable APM... Reboot your machine and enjoy!- nuklearb
