    It may have been added to the local group policy of the machine. Open the Group Policy editor to verify: Go to run a line type "gpedit.msc" Under "User Configuration\Windows Settings\Internet Explorer Maintenance\URLs\Important URLs" Look for "Home page URL:" _________ Good Luck
