Yes. You can do it on any machine that you have Exchange Admin installed on. To install just ExAdmin run the Ex5.5 setup and do a custom install and only check off the administrator option.

Here's another option to avoid having to manually delete the email from all those users.
1. Create a distribution list "deadmail"
2. Go to the email tab and add the dead user's email addresses here.
3. Don't put anyone in the distribution list!

I am setting up my OWA on a seperate box. The OWA is communicating properly with my Exchange5.5 (on w2ksvr) when I access it through OWA on the OWA machine.
My only issue is when I attempt to reach OWA from another machine (not the OWA machine) on my network I get a failed to get inbox message...
Also concerning your backup check to see if circular logging is enabled. If you are doing backups uncheck it. This should help in the size of the log files. Mantislee
