As the message says, what significance are these on an 8X24 or any other system that has them?
On the punch down, there are Aux. telephone, which I assume is for a regular analog line, Page Control, and Page Line Out.
What kind of speaker/output can I use with this line out?
Quick question on the 66 punch downs - what exactly do I need to order in order to replace one? I've never had the need to replace one when I originally got this unit, but if someone could tell me what block and what CONNECTOR I need to have with the block it would be appreciated! Thanks!
Just got my hands on a Nexware Sweetbay 8100 Faste Ethernet switch and I cannot locate ANY kind of documentation/support for this thing. I know it's managed, and has more functions which I would like to access but just cannot! Any ideas?
I'm looking at the ports on the punchblock I labelled as 'Page Control', 'Page Output', and 'Aux. Ringer'.
Now here I am, duct tape roll in hand, thinking about how I could use these to my advantage :)
My question with Page Output is this - is this just simply an audio signal that I could say...
Not in the FAQ is 8X24 power consumption. Preferable, what is it in watts, and does that rating include the first (prime) set or am I tacking on another 60W for that set?
I have a Compaq Presario 1200 12XL2 with a Celeron 566. Just wondering what kind of socket it is and what is the best possible CPU I could put in it. Thanks!
After wandering into the local pharmacist with a norstar system, the paging tone was three increasing tones versus the long, retro, BLEHHHHHHHP! Is there any way to change the paging tone? 8X24 w/DR2
Alright so now i'm aware as to how I can expand my 8X24.
I have a 2 port expansion trunk card on the 8X24, to which i'll add a 0x16 CO station module and a 12X0 unit. My question is what are the possible cards I can put in the 12X0? Isn't there also CLI cards like the C1 that are in trunk...
Hello,
8X24 with DR2. When I'm browsing sets in **CONFIG, I see listed under each set an option for 'B1' and it turns 221 into 341 and so on. I cannot reach these 3XX series DN's because they are not in service. What purpose do they serve?
I've heard that the 8X24 KSU can be expanded to add something like 50 sets. I've gone through the DN ranges and they all go up to a total of 76 sets (the original 24 + 52). Exactly how does one expand this system? I cannot see conventional ports like on the MICS for a direct 0x32 expansion.
Hey all,
I have a chance to update my 8X24 from DR2 to DR5. I am gong to go ahead with this upgrade as I see it will be helpful, but what changes can I expect between the versions?
