    I dint think so. As they are recognized as 9611G it should consume an Avaya IP endpoint license. Additionally it is full featured like a 9611 phone.

    You can load H323 firmware on them. Then they will be seen as 96x1. But tbh I don't know if this works for all J-Series phones.

    I polled IPO in the past with SNMP. It only worked using SNMPv1. Information level is very low. I tend to use the IPO monitoring API as it contains much more information. I use it in Zabbix to get various information and generate alerts.
