I suspect it have many many many spywares and virus!!!
try to use spy removals, like adAware(www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/)
and search for virus with a good anti virus.

1. in w95 machines check at Control Panel / Nework if your network primary logon is "Client for Microsoft Network"
2. in w2k machine, connection properties, TCP/IP Properties, check if you have NetBIOS marked.

bodyproctor, yes it is!! Some times at my home I need to do this... one or two hour of work, to reinstall programs, drivers, etc. But when an error persists without a solution, I prefer do this.
XP is a good idea if you have and your computer supports.

IE is not supposed to be removed only by microsoft. Have many situations acctually that we are forced to remove IE and reinstall it: virus effects, spywares infectations, etc. An excellent tool to full uninstall IE is IERadicator, you can obtain at: http://www.litepc.com/ieradicator.html...

1.Set the second NIC to auto IP, without gateway and reboot;
2.After reboot, click Start / Run / and type CMD;
3.At DOS window, type IPCONFIG;

By default, windows try to get IP from a DHCP server when you install a new network card. If he cann´t locate a dhcp server, he takes an auto IP (169.x.y.z). This IP´s dynamic.

The AssemblyInfo.cs may be in use (ohh, I hope it help you! ;) ). Try stop the IIS service and delete, or change the service to Manual Startup, and restart, after try to delete. Remind to unchange the Startup Method.
