When I try to delete a virtual directory in 'Default Web Site' in IIS, I receive an error : "Cannot Delete AssemblyInfo.cs:Access Denied. The source file may be in use"

But I do not have that application open.

Another questions that is greatly puzzling me :

Why can I browse and change the 'Local Path' for some virtual directories and not all of them? Those that I cannot change the 'Local Path' have the text box greyed out with the path define within it.

Thanks :)

hi bianca,

The AssemblyInfo.cs may be in use (ohh, I hope it help you! ;) ). Try stop the IIS service and delete, or change the service to Manual Startup, and restart, after try to delete. Remind to unchange the Startup Method.

about your Local Path problem...
Which user is logged into your machine? Administrator?

good luck
