thanks for replying i am restoring using brighstor 11.1 and am trying to restore from backup tape of my real DC to a DC in a test domain. When i perform the restore I select to restore the data to the original location. I hate to sound stupid but how would i debug the restore to find out why...- xroadtripx

I am receiving this error message... ae0312 unexpected error occurred in client agent. job failed.... when i try to restore my system state. I also receive the error aw0272 reboot (my server name) in order to replace restored active files. When i reboot the server it dies and can't load OS...- xroadtripx

Damn thing fails with E8533
i had this same error message when trying to do a disaster recovery restore and i was using the account and password i set up but when i tried to connect to the client agent i received an error. Turns out i had to go into the client agent on the server i was trying to restore go into options...- xroadtripx
