i see that you have three interfaces in the server.
Until you finish trouble shooting disable all of them ( in device manager) except the one with the .10 address,
check your manually created dns record for this server points to .10
remove any dns entries to do...
have a look at yer eventlog master browser type errors .. you'll want browstat fromn the 2k resources tool kit
type nbtstat -c in a command prompt on a client pc that can
log on to the domain
do the client pcs have a problem logging on to the domain?
check the dns server ip address in your servers lan settings..
sounds like dns is ok on yer client pc but the local connections dns settings are incorrect on the dc itself
just to be sure cos i wasnt as clear as i could be last time..
try disabling the adapter in device manger
when this was happenig to me this is what worked...
ruin nsllokup
type the fqdn of your 1st dc and then the 2nd dc in the nslookup console
if both times you get good results returned .. then your dns is fine
It Still sounds like a dns error to me

we allow our users a differennt mailbox password to their login password if they want..
those that have the same password only have it to use it once,

it turns out it was the tray settings on the posh xerox printer, they where set to expect us letter size whereas mugginbs here as of course changing them clients to a4....
