Hello Tecnikall! Good news, the annoying message are gone, when I changed to a different register. Looks like I need to get rid of the configuration files and make a new one. Just in case I am not able to accomplish removing both the startup and running configuration files...

I agree with you, I know you will come out with that response. I am working right now on doing your suggestions... I was in the process of finding out if the same problem will exist, if I will try different IOS versions. It just happened that when I saw your reply, I was doing the 12.2 version...

My take here, is that there is something the system is seeing in the configuration file that's expected to be a tty line.. which is in line 0... It also tells me that I may not have a clean configuration file (the physical file itself).... any clues, anyone?

I've been looking via the net for days now, and no reference about it,... The image file is c5350-is-mz.121-5.xM3.bin. The hardware is Cisco AS5350. I tried other images, but the same result. Pls. help!!!
