Im setup a vpn session on my xp box Im trying to vpn to my buddies vpn server which is setup perfect and others can vpn in. when I try it goes to verifying username and pw and just hangs then disconnects me.. any ideas ?? Im running a link sys router if that helps at all. thanks

By default under windows 2000 it shares out \\mycomputername\c$ is there a way to turn that off or to change the permissions.. I know ntfs will manage the permissions but can I close off that share and disable it ??
