Thanks Bob, but I already have the book for the doorphone. I need the book for the Door Opening Controller - any hints where I can find that one???
Thanks again!

From there, you can download Remote Utilities 10 or Manager 3.5. If you need NRU 11, sorry, but you're going to have to buy it again.
Hope this helps!
I'm trying to setup a Doorphone & DOC. The locksmith needs to know what voltage the door strike needs to be. Does anyone know what the DOC will work with - 12v or 24 v, AC or DC? I want to give the locksmith all possible options. Also, is there a pdf version of the DOC Install Guide available...
A quick question this time - Will the MCK Module Extender work to extend a Copper Station Module from an 8x24 system, over a fiber cable? Also, what type of temination is needed on the fiber?
I think I narrowed the problem down to modem init string. The Manager default value (&FQ0V1&C1&D2S7=85&S0) gives me an error message about the modem string. So I changed it to the Remote Tools default string (&FEQ0X4V1&D2&C1S7=85), which allows me to log on, but I think there's something wrong...
You have gone too far...
When you start N*Mgr & log in, the Systems Directory screen appears, listing all your customers systems. At this screen, click Scheduler, then click Run/Submit Job. Enter the necessary info & click Run Now.
Good Luck!
Nightwolf - Thank you, I DL'd NM3.5 & was able to log into my customer's system. But I'm having another problem now. I got as far in the process as where to save the file to, but I got booted out of the program & disconnected.
Do I need to save the file to the default directory (c:\, or can I...
LL,
Thanks for all that info, but you are missing the point. Nortel came out with Norstar Manager 3.7 because earlier versions do not work on Windows XP.
My question was not which version of N*Mgr to use, but how to get around the error message when trying to print a report. Any thoughts???
I'm connecting to a Modular DR5 with N*Mgr 3.7 on a Win XP pc. I start an on-line session, go to Generate Reports, but when I try to print a report to a file, or the printer, I get an error message "Reports session aborted".
It doesn't matter which type of report I select, I get the same error...
OTBOB - I have made them in the past, (I've been doing this for 20-years), but have always found that factory made cables always work better & last longer.
Upstate Paul, thanks I'll try Sandman. He always has some interesting stuff.
Thank you all for the replies. Syquest, I tried the Hubbell & Leviton catalogs, and couldn't find anything in either. I guess I will have to have them special made. I will try Cable Exchange - thanks for the tip!
