You can use an Analog cordless phone like the ones used in homes. It can receive caller-ID as well. We use them on our data center floor so techs can move around.

I want to backup to a server out on our network. That way I can restore from the network if need be.
Also, I have port 21 checked on the 8720 so that should be all set.
Currently I'm running FTP services on my laptop adn trying to backup the files to it.
