I had this problem... all speed dial programmed but names did not appear.
I solved it by going to the active sets, compatibilities & preferences... in the ‘First Display’ column make sure they say 'Name'.
Hope it helps.
I have installed this on a laptop with 512mb of memory and only 32mb graphics card.
With Vista, I had to turn off all visual performance enhancements, just to get it to respond in time to make it usable.
With 7, it's quicker with all the enhancements turned on, than Vista with them turned off...
Sorry... gave up and called my trusty installation guy and he gave me the answer straight away.

Hope someone can help with this as it's driving me mad.
I have contacted HP support and all they say it should work.
I am running Windows Vista Business 64-bit and I am trying to use a ‘Windows Image Acquisition’ (WIA) driver to scan. I downloaded the basic driver from their website and the...

Thats why I'm using the mapped drives.
This was done with mapped network drives.
For example, setup drive S: to http://server/public
and setup drive T: to http://server/generalpurpose
When clicking on each drive, it shows the contents of the public and general purpose folders as files and folders in explorer and you can copy and...
