i managed to borrow a 1760 with 12.2(15)T2. it does pretty much the same thing, although slightly better. some pages come up (google, some google searches). but, on the debug, i see "S1/0 I packet too large size 1506 maxsize 1504" several times before the the LCP unknown protocol...

so... does anyone out there have a clue about this problem??

if you can get into the router's enable mode, type: erase start reload this will erase the start-up config and reload will cause it to reboot to the factory defaults if you cant get in to the routers enable mode, then follow the instructions here...

Hey yall, I'm trying to modify the script above to be used on a 1601 router with an async modem. So far, no luck. Debugging tells me i have no chat script for my dial string. Can anyone help me get this working? thanks --james
