I am having problems with CLAN's, even though both sides are set 100Mb Full, they dont connect. If you set the switch to auto, then back to 100Mb Full it connects. Is this the problem you get?
We had this last year. The Linux time on your S8700's daylight savings rules are clashing with those setup through DSA.
I beleive our maintainer set the daylight savings on the Linux, and we have then disabled them on the Avaya programming.

We need to be able to have faxes / modems setup on a remote site, where all phones are ip. We have no equipment on site other than the ip handsets that connect back to the switch in a different location. Are there any devices that can interface with analogue devices and convert to Avaya IP?
Is there any way with Communication Manager 2.0 to have the phones feature buttons download from a file on the TFTP server, instead of going round each phone and having to label the buttons correctly yourselve? Also how can I restrict users from messing around with these features? The phones...

Thanks for your help, just set the Q = Y on the announcments about an hour ago, have had much better success. Have checked using display events and have had no retries since changing the setting.
I would have thought that the boards would still run busy and only start queuing once all 16 ports...
