While trying to learn and understand my Succession 1000 better I inadvertantly outed one of my main CDNs. Just goes to show that you should never type commands that you do not fully understand. Anyways, after I figured out what I had done to completely take down all of my voicemail...
John, pretty good memory there. The actual lines I used were:
LD 96
enl msgi 31
enl msgo 31
31 was the d-channel that I wanted to monitor. A couple of more questions regarding this. I understand what you mean by flooding the terminal. How would I go about getting out if that happens? Would...
John, as always thanks for your input. I was able to modify the d-channel from the information you gave me. This is what I now have:
ADAN DCH 31
CTYP DCIP
DES Virtual
USR ISLD
ISLM 80
OTBF 127
NASA NO
IFC SL1
CNEG 1
RLS ID 25
RCAP ND2 MWI
MBGA NO
OVLR...
How do I actually view what is flowing across a particular d-channel in real time. My installer had it on the console once and we printed the output. I have spent an hour trying to figure out what he did and am getting no where. I have a Succession 1000.
I did this exact same thing earlier today and it worked fine.
load 96
dis dch 31 auto
The only thing I can think of is that you disabled a different d-channel than the one you looked at.
I have phones off of the BCM that use voicemail from the Succession side across the SL1 pipe. The voice mail works fine but I get no message indication that there is a voicemail on the phone. I changed the rcap line to read rcap nd2 mwi. I will check and see if this worked tomorrow.
I was not entering the adan chg dch 91 correctly. My problem is now with the rcap line. Right now it says rcap nd2 and I believe I want it to say rcap cmwi. However when I try to make this change I get an sch0531 code. When I run this code it says it is not listed. I am assuming I am...
I have a d channel that shows up as adan dch 31. I need to modify my rcap on this dchannel. I can not figure out how to do this. In LD 17 I do chg then adan then at the adan prompt I tried entering dch 31 and other similar things but all I get is error codes.
I have a Succession 1000 and Call Pilot 2.5 at my main site. I have a BCM 3.5 with T7316s attached to it. I am using IP trunking for centralized voicemail and four digit dialing. All of this is working great. I can four digit dial in both directions to any extension with no problems. My T7316...
gregdeike,
Thanks for the reply. I do not understand the structure of your search string. I take it your LDAP server is not your CallPilot server. The best structure I could get from reading Nortel doco is addressbook=user,dc=nortel,dc=ca. This did not work. Let us say my server name is CP...
I am trying to send a voice message to another extension using the callpilot address book (server) that was incorporated into microsoft outlook when I installed unified messaging. However, there are no entries in this address book. If I change the configuration to use local copy of server...
I have a new system and am working on setting up desktop messaging. I am running callpilot version 2.01 and the server is not in my domain. Domain DNS is configured so my network can use the FQDN of the callpilot server. Everything seems to be working except in outlook the CallPilot Address...
Thanks for the info cookiespin. I agree that the issue is exactly kerberos authentication in AD. Not sure what the updates did to hurt this. One thing that I have read is that Microsoft used an expired certificate in the updates. Not sure if this is true or not. Did you just hard code the...
We have been having the same kind of time issue since the weekend. All I have been able to determine so far is the fact that it seems to be related to the microsoft security updates that we installed on all of our domain controllers over the weekend. I have not been able to figure out what is...
Yes, I am using Veritas v9.1. I did some investigating and determined that this must be related to the veritas remote agent for sql because it is happening on every sql 2000 server that I am backing up.
