Hi all
I have a Winsows SBS server 2003 with exchange loaded on there and my manager in his wisdom has setup an accountan external ISP for a new part of the business - the only way we can get the emails from them is via POP3.
Problem I have is when I POP the ISP to get the email, it tells me...
Hi All
I have a DC and a second server that is simply a member of that DC.
When I log onto my PC using a local account I have to authenticate to the second server every time putting in DOMAINNAME\Username
Is there a way that I don't have to do this? With logging into the domain on the PC...

Hi all
I've got a windows SBS 2003 server with Exchange 2003 all loaded up nice.
Some plonker has removed the virtual directories in IIS and has totally broke my OWA.
I don't seem to be able to re-create them! I've tried the Metabase explorer and removed the ds2MB entry and re-started...
I think I'm missing something in my configuration and it's driving me nuts.
I have a new web server in my DMZ that has a nice www.websitename.com and can access that from the outside world no problem - when I try and access the site from inside the company (behind my firewall) I get site not...
Hi all
I have a strange problem. I need to have a database that supports Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters.
I've been thinking about AL32UTF8 but not entirely sure as we have seen that some characters are getting stored/converted incorrectly in our testing.
Any advice...

Hi all
I've got a windows 2003 server acting as an AD/DNS server with my PC pointing at the server to act as my DNS Server
Whenever I go into NSLOOKUP and lookup an MX record it always seems to add my domain to the end and points back to me.
C:\Documents and Settings\lwalters>nslookup

OK
Sorry for the delay in getting back - have been on hols :-)
Yes, the server has an MX record - and I can telnet to the server on 25.
It seems that the server has been closed for relaying which is my problem.

Hi All
I'm trying to connect to my exchange server via POP3 but when I connect it keeps asking me for account information.
Which account info should I be using, the domain username/password or do I have to set someother type of account information up?
Kind Regards

Incase you haven't figured this one out yet - from the inside it's simply the IP address of the machine or DNS name if you've got that set up,
from the outside, via a Firewall its the Public IP address you've assigned the Exchange server, or if you're going via a re-mailer in the DMZ it will be...
In exchange goto Connections -> IMS -> On the Internet Mail tab click the notifications button. Click on the Send Notifications for these NDR's radio button and uncheck the boxes below.
This will stop you (or the mailbox you have specified) from getting the NDR's for mailboxes that do not...
