Make sure you have the latest service pack 2, make sure your motherboard drivers are up to date. Delete all USB, the bottommost section in the HardWare device list. Do this in safemode if it doesn't work in normal, restart. If it was a power issue it could have blown an IC. Check your BIOS...
If you go to Tools Options Views, down at the bottom it says default compose view, and default read view. If they are plain text, change them to HTML. Maybe the patch made that change because I have 6.5.7 and they are both set at Plain Text.

I cant seem to properly switch to this card from the 9600 without getting STOP errors in Win2000. A person used to be able to switch to a standard VGA card reboot and load the new card drivers and reboot again but I cant find standard VGA card in the device list. I also have a PCI ATIRAGEII...
Can you disable the hard drive as a boot option and choose CD to make sure it boots from it. Otherwise try to format from a 98CD or something like that and FDISK, then if it deletes the partition or if you can use the XP disk tools to delete the partition you may be able to use the Win2K CD...

How do I connect to my home network? The only thing I could think of was to try connecting FTP. So I downloaded WS_FTP demo and had them running on both PCs. But it doesn't seem to help. Am I missing something about FTP?
I copied my D&S folder to the D: drive before formatting and copied it back to the C: drive where my OS was, but I still can't delete the D:\D&S folder. It says it's a system folder and can't be deleted. But I cant see the system attribute on it, so how do I delete it?
They could probably use their own, it depends on the computer policies, obviously if you could save a file just about anywhere in your computer so can someone else find it and retrieve it.
There's a good chance it will be reimaged or it will just sit there and be lost. Its better on the PC...
