RiPREP Still prompting for Product Key

I am at a complete loss here. I tried that link, but it did not work. It has to do with the files actually in the Mirror directory on the server for that image. Because I can take the Mirror1 folder from a different image that uses the same model computer, and manually overwrite the Mirror1...

I tried the script that page said to try. But it still did not work. Thanks for the suggestion though. Any more ideas?

I was originally using ProductID instead of ProductKey. I changed it in hopes that it would change, but the bahavior was the same.

RiPREP Still prompting for Product Key

Yes and Yes. 1. I put in the CD key in the answer file, and then it prompts me for a computer name and password. At which point, I enter the information and the installation picks up from there. It can apparantly see the answer file, because it joins the specified domain in the answer file...

RiPREP Still prompting for Product Key

I am having the same exact problem. The funny thing is my answer file looks exactly the same for two different images. For one image, it works fine. For the other image, it does not work and prompts me for a CD key. Has anyone figured this out?

    Toner Smudging on Page

Usually the smudging will be in streaks or lines running the length of the page. Or maybe thick streaks. BudtheGrey may have it right, but I still don't know if there is any way to fix the toner or if you just have to get a new cartridge? Thanks.

    Toner Smudging on Page

A quick question: Every once in a while I come across a laser printer in which the toner cartridge is smudging. Swapping toner cartridges usually fixes the problem. My question is, is it normal for these things to smudge like this, and when they do is there a way to clean them? Or do you...

Data Recovery from a Bad Hard Drive

I want to say thanks to everyone. This issue has been resolved. Just to let you know, here is what ended up doing it for me. I didn't even try getdataback, because the description of the program said it runs from Windows. This drive locks Windows up every time if it is connected, so anything...

Data Recovery from a Bad Hard Drive

Thanks guys. I've downloaded the seagate diagnostic tools, and so far I've only run the quick tests. Going to run more full tests later, but it looks like maybe the only thing wrong with it is that the FAT is messed up. Is there a way to repair the file allocation table without losing data?

Data Recovery from a Bad Hard Drive

Thanks for the replies. Here is more info, as requested. The drive is a slave drive, not bootable. The BIOS does recognize the drive, and it shows up on POST. However, when Windows XP loads, the OS slows down to a crawl. There's no hint of a drive letter for that hard drive under My...

Data Recovery from a Bad Hard Drive

I have a bad hard drive here with some important data on that that I'd like to retreive if possible. I can't read from the drive no matter what I try. I know there are companies out there that provide data recovery, but I'm wondering if anyone knows any that are especially good, or especially...

Making a form cmd button add records to a table

I'm pretty new to Access, so this may be an easy question: I use Access 2003. I've got a form with a bunch of fields pulled from various tables. If I wanted to put a command button on that form to add the data from the fields on this form to append to a seperate table, how do I do this? I've...
