Banyan (ePresence) does not write software anymore. There was never a client for XP or ME, since they were introduced after Banyan ended developement.
Time to migrate.

The easiest way may be to restore the mail service to another server "to a service of a different name". Then move the mailbox to your regular server. The messages will be merged with those already in the users mailbox (there my be duplicates)

The mapi client software is on a floppy that came with your VINES media kit. In St4NT, it is on the client component CD. Install it, then add the service in outlook (you have to be logged into Banyan)

If I understand your question correctly...
When you are logged into a machine via terminal services, map a drive to \\laptop-machine-name\C$

You have a class B subnet that allows 4094 hosts. Any subnet mask you assign will not help you if the entire 255.255.240.0 subnet is assigned as a scope in the corporate DHCP server. If you choose another network (this mask allows 14 within an entire class B), you will have to go through a...
Most all PCI NICs need you to load the driver. What are you trying to do? You cannot load balance. Are you trying to isolate VIP from your IP network? Make sure you make the NICs different metrics so your routes don't flip-flop. Try either the 3C905 or a Netflex II or III. I know both of these...
You need to use NAT (RRAS) or ICS on that server for the machines on your LAN to access the internet. 192.168.0.1 needs to be defined on the client machines as the default gateway. Since you have 2 NICS in the server, there is no way to route requests, since routing is disabled by default.
Your...
Are your components on the HCL? You are at the point it is installing devices... Your raid driver may need to be installed when you see the "Hit F6 to install a third-party SCSI or RAID Driver" at the beginning of the install. This will be necessary if a driver is not found for the...
Your NT Boot loader is on C: and you cannot change this now. Do not delete the C: drive or Win2k will no longer function. If you want to do it over, delete all of the partitions with FDISK and start win2K install by booting with the 4 boot floppies or from the CDROM (if it is IDE)...
Actually, you have to ping the FQDN to get a DNS response, not the NETBIOS name. As a sidebar, Win9x or NT clients do not even use DNS to find a GC (to find a DC). This is only for Win2K clients.

ISA Server has a steep learning curve... Unless you are familiar with the product, it is going to be difficult for you. If you need something ASAP, use the NAT server in RRAS... or simpler yet, Internet Connection Sharing. Use your modem, dial on demand, as your public interface and the NIC as...
Your server needs to be on the same network and subnet as your internal router interface. The cisco has to have a route defined to your T-1 serial interface. The internal interface on your router should be defined as your server's default gateway.

No, the partitions can be on IDE drives. No difference.

Sounds as if you may be part of an AD Domain, in which case, being an administrator of the workstation will not help you manage profiles that are in AD. That is in the realm of the Domain Admins group. Need more info...

When upgrading your server, pay particular attention to the Hardware Compatibility List. Like the other fellow said... make sure you have a BDC (offline) so you have a road home if the upgrade fails.
