Yes, it is 4.4 'Then I thought - it is easier to get out of the way when we are in it, than to get in when we are out'... John Bunyon, "Pilgrims Progress"
I believe it is 4.4-03. If that doesn't sound right, please tell me where the system reports the version. I went to help > about to find this.
Thanks,

Just do a google search for "66 block wiring diagram". There are dozens of good links. 'Then I thought - it is easier to get out of the way when we are in it, than to get in when we are out'... John Bunyon, "Pilgrims Progress"
I have a client asking me to increase the amount of time a call rings before going to voice mail, when the receiving party is on another call. As it is currently set up, the amount of time needed to put someone on hold and pick up the incoming call is inadequate.
I suspect this is a system-wide...
If you haven't already done so, download a copy of webmin (www.webmin.com). It gives you the ability to manage your machine via a web browser (on your machine or from another machine altogether).
Setting up Samba and telnet are rather simple. There is a simple interface in the servers section...

I just purchased a new Toshiba 1905-S277 from Best Buy, and had a very easy install.
Firstly, I installed Windows 2000, blowing away XP in the process. I created a 24GB Fat32 partition, leaving 6GB free for Linux. I then installed Mandrake 8.1, manually creating the...
Alternatively, try moving the Windows partition to the end of the drive (using Partition Magic) and installing Linux at the front, thus overcoming Lilo's 1024 limitation.
Also consider using Grub. It doesn't suffer from the 1024 limitation.
Whichever you use, you may not see Windows when you...
I would use partition magic to free up some space (I would recommend at least 2 GB, 4 would be even better) on the 40 GB drive. Then I would move the existing Windows 98 partition to the end of the drive, leaving the empty partition in the beginning of the drive.
Make this the primary master...
Couple of things...
On my Toshiba, I had to go in the bios and specify cardbus (or the opposite), not auto. See if you have any such settings in your bios.
Secondly, you may want to check out Mandrake 8.1. It is functionally equal, yet the install on my laptop was a breeze compared to RH 7.2...
Steps 1 through 436 - walk over to Borders and pick up "Samba Essentials for Windows Network Administrators" by Gary Wilson.
You can share any directory on Linux with windows computers by using Samba (www.samba.org). In this case, you would likely share /mnt/cdrom as read-only.

On the linux machine, make sure you have the default gateway and the nameservers populated.
Try pinging the nameserver (I use 216.200.176.4 from Megapath). If it doesn't ping, make sure you can ping internal stuff. If you can ping locan stuff but can't ping the above IP address, then...
Here's how I install VNC on RedHat 7.1, it works every time without fail. No exceptions.
1. Get the tarball and extract it into a directory (any directory).
2. Copy all of it into /usr/bin
3. Run vncserver (as root) from a command shell.
4. Supply and confirm the password.
5. Go to /root/.vnc/...
I suppose, I never considered that. I guess I could designate some new folders in the user's personal (or exchange) folders for this purpose.
Still, a direct way would sure be nice...
Thanks Dan.
I have a client that is beginning to appreciate the powerful import/export capabilities of Outlook 2000, but cannot achieve the same functionality from Public folders, such as calendars or contact lists.
Is there a way to do this? Public folders are not an option in the import/export wizard...
