Is it Friday yet?
Everytime I try to help......mumble, mumble, mumble,
think I'll just stick to asking question in future and not try to help anyone but myself!
Never mind can't read everything right

"If you don't know how, ask 1st"
157 is an acceptable number to me if I was looking to have the reult in hours and not days as the original request was phrased, or am I being picky?

"If you don't know how, ask 1st"
Simple answer is:
Cell containing 7-21-04 1:10 AM
Minus
Cell containing 7-14-04 12:10 AM
Then format the equation cell to
Custom: [h]:mm:ss
This should return a result of 157:00:00 (or it did for me)

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\new office document
Have a look in here and see if the Blank Document has been changed to the one that you are seeing.
If so replace with a Blank Doc.
Should sort you out. (I hope, it worked for me)

pjb,
may not be what you want exactly but the closest I can get is this:
Insert: Picture: Clip Art: Enter "Folder" in the search line
Now my clip art didn't contain a "Folder" picture but if you go to Clips OnLine there is a very Similar picture to the windows folder picture.
Just download...
My 2 penneth!
Copy entire row
Right click
Insert copied cells.
This will move the row and any totals down as you go

I do something very similar to this. Put the equation in the month to data column of Today + Previous day, then every day copy this equation back into previous day as VALUES only!!
and clear down your Today column ready to start again.
I do this through a very easy Macro so, which ever way takes...
I assume you want to sort by the first part of the cell i.e. A56 then by the second part of this cell 1.2?
If so you could split the cell with Text to columns using / as your separator assuming your data is consistent with what you have shown.
Then sort by first column A56 the by second column...
Normally I would say that you cannot "sort" by colors but I found a magical piece of kit last week called DigDB (I am in now way affiliated with this company nor do I endorse it)
This add in allows you much more powerful sort functions and I think is a great tool for anyone doing analysis in...
OK here we go.
I got his to work but it will add the SVR total in at each break.
Use the Pivot wizard as normal.
Drop the Server name and the Drive in on the columns and then the Size into the data and then the date into the row.
Then uncheck the totals in the chart options if desired
This...
Sum of Drive Space Date
Server 12/07/2004 13/07/2004 Grand Total
svr2 90 174 264
testsvr1 90 95 185
Grand Total 180 269 449
These are the reults tht I get when I use your data with the SUM function. (excuse the format) Is this what you need?

welshone,
I have just tried this with your data and the SUM function works fine for me.
Is there an issue with the format of you original data?
This has happened before to me.
I get a total of SVR2182 and TESTSVR1 185 is this the data your are hoping to see?
Obvisouly you could then add the...
