Using Notes client 6.5 and the Out of Office agent always show's enable with a check mark if you click on the menu and select view then agents.
It will not disable yet if i go to tools, Out of Office it shows disabled.
Is this normal??

We are running Domino 6.5.3 and when a user selects their Out-of-Office message to "enable" it does not send out the message saying the user is out of office when an email arrives.
Using Server 6.5.3 and client 6.5.
Any help would be appreciated.

Currently in Notes 6.5.3 when opening the mail app, the default box is not always the "inbox". It seems that the last folder a person was in is the default for the next session. Is there a way to set the "inbox" as the default location when opening Notes all the time?

Ok so you have 1 DC at this point with all 5 FSMO roles on it. Correct me if i have any information wrong.
You have DNS setup on ROSE-CLEARCC which is the your primary DC with all FSMO roles. (Windows2000)
You have DNS setup on ROSCLEARDC1 which is the server you are trying to make secondary...
If you go to a command prompt and type nslookup and then get a response that is something like unkown [can't remember exact message] this means your DNS is not working properly. Let me know how you make out...i have other suggestions but try these first to eliminate some issues.

Did you try nslookup to test your DNS? Also you can repair your AD DNS entries using this command "netdiag /fix" on your DC's. Please read this:

Let me know if you tried nslookup to verify DNS.

Why not just push the link out regardless if it is there or not. It is only 1k and will not have an impact on network traffic.
Or try not to use the "Call". Seems that the "Call" is not being performed.

From the PC/Server having problems open a command prompt and type nslookup and see where your DNS is pointing. If you get "unknown" or you do not return the correct value you have DNS problems. Nslookup is the tool to diagnose any DNS problems. Make sure you have Reverse Lookup Zones...
