Jumper on mobo (jp9) switches FSB to 133Mhz... manual says that chaintech mobo's using the kt133a chiset do not support changing the FSB..
Asked a sysadmin at my place of work and he said it was a known error in the mobo manual.

Tomorrow AM.. board & magifying glass out again.
Tried flashing with every combo possible.
Tried changing the core Voltage and bus freq'... Got it up to 1200MHz.. but halted during boot with a win general prot' error at the point where my usb mouse flashed. Disabled usb in BIOS and it boots...

I bought an AMD AthlonXP 1500+ after reading on the Chaintech web site that my board (7AJA2) supported AMD XP's with their BIOS update.
Installed CPU.
Booted under original BIOS.. All Well.
Recognized CPU as AMD Athlon running at 1000MHz.
