Device Manager: mmc.exe - Application Error (Sounds, video and game..)
Hey there, I'm not sure, but I think your devmgmt.msc has somehow become corrupt. What does it do when you put the original devmgmt.msc from your win xp cd over the "corrupt" devmgmt.msc? You can try to do it from in windows, but my experience tell's me that would not work. Maybe you could try...- skaajie

Amibios no sound on laptop
Hey there, Probably a stupid question, but if you plug in a headset or headphone, can you hear anything then during boot or when playing a song? Or is your sound just muted? Most of the time you should press your 'Fn'key and someother key. Hoped I helped, otherwise we'll sort it out...- skaajie
