Does anyone know why our 9641 SIP phones will boot up and go into service and the 9611 SIP phones will not? The 9611 will go into service h-323, but when we change it to SIP it restarts, boots up, but never makes it into service. The display shows "acquiring service".
Hey Smokinjoe. PRI works great on the Option 11. Smart Jack is good. ESS5 is the interface of the Option 11 trunk route and D-Channel (IFC prompt) because our serving CO was configured that way back when this was originally installed. Thanks
Hey Smokinjoe and VZtech, that's what we have. We were able to get the carrier to test with us last night and do a temp change to NI2 but we still had the problem. We are awaiting the arrival of a new PRI card/daughter board to test with today. Thanks for all of the interest from you and vztech.
straight ISDN PRI from smart jack to IPO. have dual PRI card and tried both ports. Same problem. Also changed config to try ESS4 with same results. Beginning to think the IPO 9.03 is not compatible with ESS5.
we are cutting over an IP office from a Nortel Option 11, just moving the existing PRI which is formatted ESS5. Results in one way transmission on inbound and outbound calls. PRI shows "In Service". Any suggestions?
Thanks Kyle555. I found the 46xxx file and will work with that. Also found that by programming something on all keys there still remains only 2 pages (phone page and feature page). To access the full list of programmed keys on the feature page you must navigate down rather than to another page.
This is my first exposure to the Avaya 9608/9611 sets. I can only see 2 pages of line/feature keys on the phone while I see 24 programmable buttons in CM. Also, a feature programmed on button 5 actually appears on button 9. It looks like all line appearances show on "page 1" and all feature...
