i have a nortel option 81 switch, with call pilot voicemail system and i have a 500 phone that the message waiting light will not quit flashing on , i have changed the phone, changed the tn & dn, changed the voicemail box number but light continues to flash even changed cls to lpd and light...

i have my switch feed an opx line from another switch going into a universal trunk card and the problem i have run into is the ring voltage is not enough or possibly not long enough, only a 2 second ring for the univeral trunk card is to pick up the line, we know this is so because we tested it...

and i dialed local there is a fax line there that should have picked up automatically

ok stated it while dialing in the stat said busy but no one answered

cant post other switches info (air force) but they have tested it for me and there is tone going to facility

SAW, almost except only 3 phones to ring in and out on the dsn lines, not everyone

slot 10 is a universal trunk card NT8D14BB

what we are doing is running a dsn from local base on opx line into facility and they are able to dial out dsn but not able to receive calls in (line rings but not at set and will give a busy tone if line is in use)

ok i am getting somewhere i know that my atdn on the opx lines do not go to proper dn,,,, how do i change it

i beleive they are programmed in as COT lines on my card 10
