Save processes in some cases are still running. we kill the save.exe processes, but this does not release the files that were being backed up at the time the process was killed. During the weekends, We run full system backups, taking down SQL Server. If one of these backups fail, we are left with Suspect databases on our SQL boxes. Unix Restore Failure
I am attemtping to restore one file on a Unix Server. The file was backed up within a saveset, sized @ 1.284 TB. The backup has no errors. The tapes have no read errors. We've used two different sets of tapes. The file is in the saveset. I've run the nsavetime command in conjunction with...- sbeltz
