Hi, all.
Here's a weird one. In our call center, we have about 500 i2004 phones. Recently, while setting up a bunch of (admittedly used) phones for a new project, we ran through several phones that all exhibited the same problem:
When plugging in the phone to the POE network jack, the...
That's pretty much the course of action I'm taking right now. Have to wait until after-hours for a Sig Server reboot, but I've got in a call to the vendor to find out if there's anything else I can try.
Thanks again for the help. Much appreciated.
We have a CS1000 Release 5. We had a new UPS installed over the weekend, which cut power to our networking equipment and reuqired shutting down the signaling servers (the PBX was left up and running).
All of our phones that were registered with the signaling servers before the UPS install are...
For future reference, just in case anyone else looks for a solution to this problem, here's the deal:
We had a power outage that caused one of our ELAN switches to go out. After the switch came back up, Symposium and CallPilot got a bit confused, and the CDN used as the SDN for CallPilot...
This one is baffling me.
After a recent reboot of our CallPilot (4.0 703t) server, the Multimedia Channels are all showing "remote off duty". Access channels (for playing messages with Symposium) are all working fine, but with the MM channels down, voicemail is not working and isn't...
We had that problem with a soft phone that was configured improperly.
In our case, "Automatic (DHCP)" was turned on in the Server tab.
Unchecking that box and manually entering the IP address of the signaling server fixed the problem.
Hi,
I work in a call center where we have nothing but i2004 phones. A recent account has required that we display the incoming DNIS on the phones. Currenly, we're only displaying the CLID and the CDN Name.
I have added the DNIS Number to the phoneset display configuration in Symposium, and...
We have an old CMS server (no longer supported by Avaya) that's running CMS version 7 on a Sun server. The IP address needs to be changed (currently, the server is sitting on the old network, and all traffic is being routed to it via our network firewall) to our new network scheme, but we've...
If I run a report right now, I get data going all the way back to March 27th, so we keep interval data for 60 days. Our interval is 30 minutes. If your interval is set to 15 minutes, you'll probably only keep half as much data.
