    may be a corrupt sound file....try reinstalling your sound card driver. That may clean it up.

    Go to control panel then select internet options click the advanced tab......under browsing check the box that says "reuse windows for launching shortcuts". That may help you.

    won't detect SATA...

    Check the motherboard drivers.....may have to get off the CD and put on a floppy for use during O/S install. On 2k/XP install setup will as for raid drivers; use the floppy and Windows should do the rest.

    DVD-ROM: BIOS and XP see it, but it wont play discs

    Check the ribbon....some older drives do not like the ata 100/133 ribbons.
